In many parts of the world animals play very important working roles in transportation, agriculture, forestry and tourism. VWB/VSF seeks to promote the health and wellbeing of these animals, their owners, and the communities they serve. For example, one of our current projects is focused on developing safer and more comfortable saddles and harnesses for working elephants to minimize work-related injuries.
