VWB/VSF-Canada would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who participated in our 2008 Rabies Fundraising Drive!  With your help, VWB/VSF-Canada raised over $12,000 for our various rabies prevention programs.  This money will go directly towards supporting our current projects in Guatemala, Nepal, Chile and Malawi.

VWB/VSF-Canada is dedicated to working with partners around the world to help in the global effort to eradicate rabies.  This past September, we supported a rabies education campaign in Africa to distribute over 10,000 rabies prevention posters in three languages (English, French and Portuguese) to more than 20 countries throughout the continent.  These posters were also available without text, allowing recipients to create their own prevention messages using local languages or dialects.  This winter we will be supporting a team of vets returning to Kathmandu, Nepal to begin the second phase of a comprehensive project focused on developing an effective and sustainable rabies prevention and canine population control program.

All of rabies prevention programs are made possible by the generous donations made by thoughful groups and individuals.  Thanks again for fundraising on our behalf and for partnering with us to Help Make Rabies History!
